Dermatological conditions in children in Primary Health Care
a scoping review protocol

Objective: To map available evidence on dermatological conditions in childhood in the context of Primary Health Care. Method: This is a scoping review protocol developed according to the methodological recommendations of the Joanna Briggs Institute (JBI). The research question was constructed based on the PCC (Population, Concept, and Context) strategy: Which dermatological conditions are reported in the literature in children in primary health care? The search will be conducted in the MEDLINE (via PubMed), Scopus, Web of Science, LILACS, and SciELO databases, in addition to grey literature. Two independent reviewers will participate in the selection of studies, through the reading of titles, abstracts, and full texts, according to previously defined eligibility criteria. The selection process will be presented using the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses extension for Scoping Reviews (PRISMA-ScR) flowchart. Data extraction will be performed using an instrument previously developed by the reviewers. The data will be organized into tables and charts, followed by a narrative summary.
