Resumo

Objetivo: A assistência ao parto humanizado é um componente essencial da atenção obstétrica e tem o intuito de promover a saúde materna e neonatal. Como as formas que essa assistência é conduzida possui impacto direto nos desfechos físicos e psicológicos da mãe e do recém nascido, é fundamental que haja métodos e práticas que propiciem uma assistência de caráter mais humanizado. Devido a isso, esse artigo tem como objetivo trazer a tona abordagens mais humanizadas para a assistência ao parto, através de uma revisão integrativa com artigos dos últimos 5 anos, selecionados na base de dados da PubMed por meio do protocolo PRISMA. Após a análise da literatura observou-se que as práticas de mindfulness, yoga, musicoterapia, realidade virtual, imersão em água e o suporte contínuo de doulas têm demonstrado efeitos benéficos na humanização da assistência ao parto, trazendo maior conforto, tanto físico quanto mental, às gestantes. Portanto, é necessário que as abordagens não farmacológicas da assistência ao parto sejam aplicadas de forma adequada, para que haja uma valorização da dimensão holística do nascimento, fortalecendo, assim, a promoção da saúde materno-infantil.
