Os Principais Fatores de Risco Relacionados às Sequelas Graves da COVID Longa

Resumo

Introdução: A COVID longa, ou condição pós-COVID-19, é caracterizada pela persistência ou surgimento de sintomas por mais de três meses após a infecção por SARS-CoV-2, podendo afetar sistemas respiratório, cardiovascular, neurológico e musculoesquelético, além de causar impactos psicológicos e cognitivos.. Fatores como idade, comorbidades, gravidade da infecção e resposta imunológica influenciam o risco. Objetivo: Investigar fatores de risco associados ao desenvolvimento de sequelas graves em pacientes pós-COVID. Métodos: Revisão de 15 estudos observacionais da base MedLine, em inglês, português e espanhol, utilizando os descritores (MeSH): “ Long Covid”, “Risk Factor”, “Post Covid” e “COVID” e sistematização PRISMA. Resultados: Cinco fatores principais foram identificados: sexo feminino, comorbidades, idade, gravidade da infecção e fatores terapêuticos. O sexo feminino foi o mais consistente, associado a maior frequência e intensidade dos sintomas. DPOC e obesidade aumentam o risco. A idade mostrou efeito variável, com risco maior em adolescentes. Gravidade da infecção e uso de macrolídeos também se associaram à persistência de sintomas. Conclusão: A COVID longa é multifatorial, exigindo acompanhamento e estudos prospectivos.
